Dr. Jeff Gilliland
A 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia’s School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Gilliland has worked as an emergency veterinarian for the past 7 years after 4 years at a multi-doctor practice.
During his off-time, he ran his own small animal, mobile practice. We welcome Dr. Gilliand and his family to Cornish, Maine.
Crystal started at Sacopee Veterinary Clinic in 2003 as a Veterinary Assistant. In 2015 she was offered the position of Practice Manager. Crystal’s responsibilities include assisting the doctors in the exam rooms, client education, and the general running of the practice.
Her other interests include sports, reading, traveling, and movies, but most of all she is a diehard Patriots fan. She shares her home with her cat Merlin, guinea pigs Bear and Jax, and a Parakeet named Kiwi.
Head Surgical Assistant
Heidi started at Sacopee Veterinary Clinic back in 1992; she previously worked at a veterinary clinic in New Jersey. While in New Jersey she raised Seeing Eye dogs, and participated in search and rescue with her German Shepherd. She is the head surgical assistant with over 25 years’ experience in the veterinary field. Heidi’s duties include assisting with surgeries, aftercare of surgical patients, dentistry, grooming, and radiology.
Some of her favorite pastimes are reading, hiking, and agility training with her dog. Her home is shared with her German Shepherd Zammis, 7 cats; Caesar, Jezzabella, Mouse, Purrlee, Spook, Vidal, and Worf. She also has a miniature horse named Nootka.
Kelsey is a Licensed Veterinary Technician whose passion for animals brought her to this field. She enjoys getting to know the clients and their pets by helping the doctors in the room the most, but she assists in other areas of the clinic as well. When not at the clinic you can find her at home with her dog Bernie. She is an avid reader and loves taking walks with her pup.
