Dr. Abbie St. Pierre
Dr. Abbie St. Pierre started with Sacopee Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant while obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph’s University in Standish Maine. She then went on to earn her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022, with a clinical year at Oklahoma State. We were very happy when she agreed to join us in 2024 as a full time Veterinarian and Medical Director. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her 3 horses, 2 dogs and her cat.
Dr. Heather Bondeson
Dr. Heather Bondeson earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Maine and obtained her DVM from Atlantic Veterinary College in 2025. Certified in Fear Free and Cat Friendly practices, she takes pride in delivering thoughtful, low-stress care tailored to each pet’s unique personality. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, playing instruments, crocheting, and spending time with her two cats.
Dr. Karen Woodberry
Dr. Karen Woodberry is a compassionate and experienced veterinarian dedicated to providing exceptional care to animals and their families. She began her academic journey at Bates College and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University. Over the course of her career, Dr. Woodberry has practiced in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Outside the clinic, Dr. Woodberry enjoys hiking, kayaking, skiing, and reading.
Crystal
Practice Manager
Crystal started at Sacopee Veterinary Clinic in 2003 as a Veterinary Assistant. In 2015 she was offered the position of Practice Manager. Crystal’s responsibilities include assisting the doctors in the exam rooms, client education, and the general running of the practice.
Her other interests include sports, reading, traveling, and movies, but most of all she is a diehard Patriots fan. She shares her home with her cat Merlin, guinea pigs Bear and Jax, and a Parakeet named Kiwi.
Heidi
Head Surgical Assistant
Heidi started at Sacopee Veterinary Clinic back in 1992; she previously worked at a veterinary clinic in New Jersey. While in New Jersey she raised Seeing Eye dogs, and participated in search and rescue with her German Shepherd. She is the head surgical assistant with over 25 years’ experience in the veterinary field. Heidi’s duties include assisting with surgeries, aftercare of surgical patients, dentistry, grooming, and radiology.
Some of her favorite pastimes are reading, hiking, and agility training with her dog. Her home is shared with her German Shepherd Zammis, 7 cats; Caesar, Jezzabella, Mouse, Purrlee, Spook, Vidal, and Worf. She also has a miniature horse named Nootka.
Kelsey
Lead Technician
Kelsey is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She graduated from York County Community College in 2018 and has always been passionate about animals.
Kelsey strives for a positive, friendly, team environment and advocates for her patients and clients.
When not at the clinic, you can find Kelsey at home with her husband, Greg, and her dog, Winnie. She enjoys reading, singing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Debi
Receptionist
Debi joined us in April of 2024.She has worked in the field for many years. She had started as a kennel worker at a boarding kennel as a kid.She then changed to working in the veterinary field in many aspects of the field. She has worked as a Professional Dog Groomer to Dog Obedience Trainer to Head Technician /Manager. She has worked in Emergency and General Practice. Debi has joined Sacopee as a receptionist.
Debi has had many dogs and cats over the years. She lives with her partner of 50 years and their 5 Labrador Retrievers that are her Fur Babies.
In Debi’s spare time she likes to garden and landscape and compete with her dogs in Agility.
